Hello SAR Friends, I want to thank everyone who attended the 2002 L.A.S.T. SAR Conference. We had a wonderful weekend; the weather was chilly but beautiful. The conference was a success with over 100 participants training together as a team. It was nice to see some old friends again and to welcome some new friends to our search and rescue family. 
A very special thank you to those that dedicated your time, talent and experience in sharing with us your valued presentations. I hope everyone took home useful information to share with their team. There was a presentation for everyone, for both the experienced and those new to search and rescue. Please mark your calendars now for the first weekend in November of 2003 for the next IN-KY SAR Conference. I would like to thank you for your valued comments on the conference evaluations. We will use your suggestions to assist us in scheduling additional topics for next year. I am glad everyone had a good time and gained some
new friends, I know that I did. I’m glad you were all able to attend.
